Jashn-e-azaadi ki iss shandaar mauke' par,
Hum Hindustani naye' josh mein apne' Hindustan ko salaam karte" hain.

Apni iss bemisaal Gulistan ke' har lajawaab Gul se',
Kamaal ki mehak mahsoos karte' hain.

Iss Gulistan mein naa jaane' kitne' maliyon ne',
Apna apna khoon aur pasina bahaya hai.

Aaj uss tamam khoon aur pasine' ki ek ek katre' ko,
Hum apne' dil se' salaam karte' hain.

Humara Tiranga jagah jagah lehra raha hai,
Apni iss pehchaan ki taraf nazar kar,
Hum apne' apne' dilon mein kai jazbaat mehsoos karte' hain.

Waqt hai aaj magar kai mushkilon se' muqabla karne' ki,
Azaadi ke' iss jash mein,
Hum Hindustani unn mushlion pe' elaan-e-jung karte' hain.

Aage' anjaam kya hoga?
Iski fikar jaanbaazon ki tarah hum nahi karte' hain.

Saare' jahaan ki nazar aaj hum pe' hain,
Pehle' ki tarah hum uss ek ek nazar ko,
Ek baar phir hairan karne' ki aaj kasam khaate' hain.

The passengers aboard rejoiced.

Moments later they were jolted out of their minds,
It was an accident that none had imagined.

Some perished, some survived,
And some were critically injured.

Fate could not have been more cruel,
For even those who managed to come out unscathed.

Home coming is always a delight,
but within seconds it became traumatic most unkind.

Someone leaves behind aged parents,
Someone's wife is in the family way,
For whom it's now end of the world.

Our thoughts would perhaps fade away with time,
We are lost in our own world.

But how life would be for such bereaved families?
Wish someone took pains to reflect in this world.😢😢
